Up to this point in the class, we have reviewed different perspectives reflecting the current state of usability and user experience design. Yet as technologies and societies evolve, so too will approaches to usability and the tools and techniques used to assess designs and evaluate usability. For this module/week, we will review perspectives that can help us plan future work in usability, design, and user experience research as well as plan how usability and user experience design might evolve over time. The idea is not to shift that which we have learned, but to consider how aspects associated with usability and user experience design might (or might not) change in the future and why.
